Mission Statement:

Living the Orthodox Faith in Christ through Worship, Witness, Service, and Fellowship

Raising a Generation of Leaders and Disciples

Established as the Archdiocese Youth Movement by Metropolitan Philip in 1969, SOYO (the Society of Orthodox Youth Organizations) was established to inspire Youth to Love Christ, His Church, and to seek His Truth and Life. "What started off as a small movement has grown into an Archdiocese wide force providing humanitarian services to the poor and needy as well as bringing the youth of our parishes together on the local, regional, and archdiocese levels". - Metropolitan Phillip

DOWAMA Teen SOYO is a branch of the Antiochian Archdiocese SOYO North American Council in the Diocese of Wichita and Mid-America. We are guided by our father in Christ, the Right Reverend Bishop BASIL.

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many
